We celebrated Winter International Lolita Day again… because there can never be enough ILDs!
A friend of mine hosted a fun “winter wonderland” themed event. I finally got to wear the Christmas JSK that I made last year and the awesome chunky mint shoes that were a lucky find at a thrift store.

Yamato Waki (KILLA–this is a guy on the cover, btw), Yamagishi Ryouko (Shiroi Heya no Futari–an early story about about gay young women), Takemiya Keiko (Kaze to Ki no Uta–a story about about love and abusive sexuality between men and boys), Hagio Moto (this is actually a cover from the early 80s of a feminist comic anthology called Grapefruit), Naka Tomoko (Saltor Koushaku no Tanoshimi–the person on the cover is a man, by the way), Aoike Yasuko (from Eroica with Love–this is one of my favorite manga ever–it’s a cold war spy comedy about an obsessive gay art thief and an anal-retentive, homophobic, German NATO officer), Ikeda Riyoko (The Rose of Versailles–lady Oscar, the transvestite head of the royal guard in Marie Antoinette’s court), Miuchi Suzue (from her adaptation of the story of Joan of Arc)
